I’ve never followed a traditional path. What’s guided me is a mindset: curiosity, independence, and the belief that you don’t have to do things the way they’ve always been done. You can find your own way and build your life with intention.
At 30, I moved from Santiago, Chile, to Miami for a new role with the U.S. branch of the telecom company I’d worked for in Chile. I’d never been afraid to explore new places or take on new adventures. I was an exchange student in California, then later earned my MBA in Milan. That time abroad immersed me in new cultures, deepened my appreciation for diversity, and strengthened the language skills that now allow me to speak fluently in Spanish, English, and Italian.

Miami was an immediate fit because of its cultural diversity. The mix of people, languages, and backgrounds made the city feel expansive and familiar at the same time. There’s a large international population here, including many Latin Americans, so I still have a taste of home while experiencing the richness of other cultures. The global energy, creativity, and access to so many different experiences make Miami home to me.
I stayed in telecom for several years before making a full transition into real estate in 2016. My background in engineering shaped how I work—analytical, structured, and precise—but I was ready for a career where I could have more control and connect more directly with people. Real estate gave me that balance. I protect my clients fiercely, understand the details others overlook, and still get to bring in creativity through marketing, problem-solving, and relationship building. Many of my clients are international, which lets me continue working across cultures, something I’ve always valued.
I’ve built my life and business by staying open to new experiences and refusing to follow a one-size-fits-all path—and I raised my daughter, Demi, with that same mindset. From the beginning, I homeschooled her through real-life experiences. She learned math through budgeting and cooking and developed strong people skills by engaging with adults and clients alongside me. By age six, she was helping at showings, carrying flyers, introducing herself, and dressing like a mini-REALTOR®.

At 15, she planned and partially funded her own birthday party, and I used her savings to open her first investment account. Now she works part-time at my office and is already thinking about getting her license. She’s confident, socially adaptable, and able to communicate across generations and backgrounds. Most importantly, she knows how to think critically, take initiative, and go after whatever future she decides to create.
I think a lot about long-term stability. When my father passed in 2010, it left a thorn in my heart for a long time. I had always wanted to give my parents a future where they didn’t have to work or worry. And while I couldn’t do it for him, I’m very focused on providing that for my daughter. I want her to have a strong financial foundation, not just for today, but for the life she’ll have after me.
That same purpose fuels my work in real estate. I care deeply about helping people make smart, informed decisions—especially when it comes to something as personal and impactful as buying or selling a home. I also love helping other agents treat their business like a real business. Financial education and guidance changes lives, and I want more people to have access to that.
Outside of work, I’m a golfer, a crafter, and a lifelong learner. I love to read, bake, paint, and create. I’ve lived across continents, raised a child outside the traditional system, and built a life that reflects my values. Everything I do comes back to the same idea: you don’t have to follow someone else’s blueprint. You just have to be bold enough to create your own.
With a background in engineering, I bring a structured, analytical mindset to real estate that allows me to anticipate challenges, solve problems quickly, and protect my clients from costly mistakes. Whether working with first-time buyers, seasoned investors, or international clients navigating unfamiliar markets, I approach each transaction with precision, discretion, and a strong sense of responsibility. I’ve represented a wide range of price points, including high-end listings and luxury properties that require customized marketing strategies and a clear understanding of elevated expectations.
Fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian, I work seamlessly across cultures and have extensive experience guiding international buyers and sellers through Miami’s fast-paced and competitive real estate market. I’m known for being hands-on, responsive, and committed to getting the job done right. That means digging into the details others overlook and stepping in to move deals forward when road bumps arise. Above all, I value trust, transparency, and long-term relationships. My clients know I’m in it with them from beginning to end and that I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure they’re protected, informed, and supported at every stage.
Sincerely,

Paula Flores, REALTOR®
